Tree to 6m height. Palmate leaves, with 5 deeply and irregularly toothed lobes, bright green and cream color margins, rosy when young. The flowers appear before leaves on the previous year branches. It has a small samara with little swollen ovary. It grows in moist and fertile grounds.
