Black Walnut It is an American tree that nowadays has been introduced in other countries; it is more resistant than the common walnut tree, taller (to 33 meters), less open and it has adult female shoots (30-50 cm), with a great number of fotioles; 11-23, with an average of 15. The nuts are less tasty than the common walnut tree and its wood, in spite of being excellent and strong, it has neither the grain nor the marks so beautiful. |
